What this notice covers
This notice applies only to the playatlashub.com website (the "website"). The Atlas Hub app will have its own full privacy policy when it launches.
Who is responsible for your data
The website is operated by Atlas Hub Limited, a private company limited by shares incorporated in Hong Kong. Under Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), Atlas Hub Limited is the "data user" for this data. For any privacy question, email privacy@playatlashub.com.
What data we process
- When you browse the website: The website has no accounts, forms or advertising. We do not add advertising trackers or separate visitor-behaviour analytics tools to the website. Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery and security. When you visit, Cloudflare may process technical information needed to serve and secure the pages, including your IP address, browser or device information, the pages requested and request times. We may view aggregated traffic information and security-event records in the company's Cloudflare dashboard; some security records may include IP addresses. We use this information to operate and protect the website. The website sets no cookies, and as we have configured it, Cloudflare sets none either. If this changes, we will update this notice.
- When you email us: we receive your email address, your name (if you include it), and the content and attachments of your message. Whether you write to us, and what you include, is up to you; without your email address we cannot reply.
Why we use it
- To display the website on your device and protect it against abuse and attacks.
- To reply to your messages and handle your requests.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Who receives it
Access to messages sent to the company is limited to people authorised to handle company correspondence and enquiries, as needed for their work. Cloudflare provides website hosting, content delivery and security; Google Workspace provides company email. These providers may process data outside Hong Kong under their applicable service terms. Where necessary to handle your request, obtain professional advice, protect legal rights or comply with applicable law, we may also disclose relevant information to professional advisers, regulators or law-enforcement authorities, subject to appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We retain emails and related information for no longer than reasonably needed to deal with enquiries, meet relevant legal obligations, maintain necessary business records or handle potential disputes. We periodically review and delete information that is no longer needed. Service logs, backups and deletion processes maintained by Cloudflare and Google may also be subject to their applicable technical and contractual arrangements.
How we protect it
We protect company email using access controls, two-step verification and other appropriate safeguards. Access to the relevant company mailbox is limited to authorised personnel handling company enquiries, although no electronic communication or system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your rights
Under Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), you may request access to and correction of personal data held about you by Atlas Hub Limited.
You may submit a completed Data Access Request Form OPS003 by email, or make a written data correction request by email. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or identify the relevant data. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable statutory requirements.
